01
Context and problem
Wend Studio needed a showcase worthy of its ambitions: a site that demonstrates — rather than claims — its command of interaction design and web performance.
The problem
Portfolio templates all look alike; the studio had to stand out without sacrificing accessibility or Core Web Vitals — the classic trap of creative websites.
02
The solution
A complete design system — tokens, glass, scroll ambiances — then an immersive site: lightweight Three.js scenes, scroll-driven animations, native light/dark theming and bilingual content. Every effect honours prefers-reduced-motion.
Key features
Scroll ambiances
The page background and accent transition as sections scroll by.
Restrained 3D scenes
Three.js under a strict performance budget, with a graceful fallback.
Documented design system
Tokens, glass and signature components reused across the whole site.
Accessible by default
Reduced motion, AA contrast and end-to-end keyboard navigation.
